SIIN Terms of Use
Last updated: 18.10.2026
Welcome to SIIN!
SIIN is a platform for discovering local life, where you can find places, events, activities, local providers, offers and interesting stories. Businesses, organisations, communities and individuals can also showcase what they do on SIIN.
These Terms of Use explain how to use SIIN, how to publish content, and the rights and obligations of users and the service provider.
1. Service provider
The SIIN service is provided by:
MANFOR OÜ
Registry code: 16977858
Address: Holmi kallas 18a, Haapsalu city, Haapsalu municipality, Lääne County, 90502, Estonia
Email: info@siinapp.ee
Website: https://siinapp.ee
2. Using SIIN
You can discover and browse public content on SIIN without creating a user account.
Without an account, you can, among other things:
- explore places, events, activities and offers;
- listen to published audio stories;
- save favourites;
- add events and activities to your phone's calendar;
- set local reminders;
- access organisers' contact details and external links.
A user account is required if you wish to create or manage provider profiles, add places, publish content or use other features that require you to log in.
When using SIIN, you must comply with these Terms and applicable law.
3. User account
You create a SIIN account and log in using a one-time verification code sent to your email address.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their email address is correct and that access to it is secure.
When using an account, you must not:
- impersonate another person or business without authorisation;
- use another person's account without permission;
- knowingly provide misleading information about your identity or authority to represent another party;
- attempt to access other users' data or management permissions.
If you suspect that your account is being misused, email us at info@siinapp.ee.
4. Managing places and provider profiles
SIIN allows you to create provider profiles and add and manage local places.
A provider profile may represent an individual, a business, an organisation or a community.
When applying for permission to manage a place, the user must be authorised to represent that place. If necessary, we may request additional information to confirm this.
A place may be managed by several authorised users. Managers are responsible for the changes they make and for ensuring that those changes are lawful.
Permission to manage a place does not confer ownership of that place or business.
SIIN may also contain public place listings without an assigned manager. These listings are intended to help users discover local places.
If management permissions end or a user account is deleted, general public information about a place may remain available on SIIN, provided that retaining it is lawful.
5. Publishing content
Users with the appropriate permissions can publish events, recurring activities, deals, daily offers, photos, descriptions and other content related to the platform's features on SIIN.
The publisher of content is responsible for ensuring that the published information is lawful, as accurate as possible and up to date.
Particular attention must be paid to dates, times, prices, the validity of offers, contact details, addresses, and participation and registration conditions.
If published information changes, it must be updated as soon as possible or removed where necessary.
SIIN may restrict the visibility of misleading, outdated, infringing or otherwise inappropriate content in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
6. Prohibited activities and content
The following are not permitted on SIIN:
- publishing unlawful, fraudulent or knowingly misleading information;
- impersonating another person or organisation without authorisation;
- infringing other people's copyright, trade mark rights or personality rights;
- publishing another person's personal data without an appropriate legal basis;
- using other people's photos or texts without the necessary rights;
- publishing content that unlawfully incites hatred, or is threatening or harassing;
- distributing spam, fraudulent links or malware;
- attempting to circumvent SIIN authentication, access restrictions or security measures;
- using SIIN in a way that harms the operation of the service or the rights of other users.
In the event of a violation, we may take proportionate measures, including removing content, restricting its visibility or suspending use of an account.
7. Photos, texts and copyright
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to upload and publish photos, texts and other material on SIIN.
If a photo contains recognisable people or content contains other people's personal data, there must be a proper legal basis for publication.
Users retain copyright in the content they create.
By publishing content, users grant MANFOR OÜ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, technically process, translate where necessary, and display the content in the SIIN app and on its website to the extent necessary to provide the service and showcase the published content.
This licence does not give SIIN ownership of users' content or the right to use it without restriction for other purposes.
When content is removed, its public use on SIIN ends, unless limited further retention is necessary and lawful.
8. Events, activities and offers
SIIN provides information about local events, activities and offers.
As a rule, SIIN is not itself the event organiser, activity provider, seller of goods or service provider.
The organiser of an event or offer is responsible for their service, terms and the accuracy of the information published.
SIIN cannot guarantee that all events will always take place at the announced time or that all offers will be available at all times.
Before participating, booking or making a purchase, we recommend checking important terms with the organiser or service provider.
If a link on SIIN leads to an external booking, registration or purchasing environment, the terms of the relevant service provider also apply there.
These Terms of Use do not limit users' statutory consumer rights.
9. Free use
Browsing SIIN, creating a user account and standard publication of profiles and content are free of charge.
SIIN may feature partner content, advertising or separately labelled featured placements.
If paid features are introduced in the future, their prices and terms will be clearly presented before an order is placed.
Users will not incur any obligation to pay for a paid service without a corresponding order or agreement.
10. Machine translation
SIIN may use machine translation to make descriptions and other public information available in different languages.
Machine translation may contain inaccuracies or alter nuances of meaning in the original text.
For important dates, prices, participation conditions and other practical information, we recommend consulting the original source or the content publisher where necessary.
11. Reporting content and problems
If you notice inappropriate, misleading, unlawful or infringing content on SIIN, you can report it using the relevant feature in the app or by emailing info@siinapp.ee.
We review reports based on their substance and the circumstances.
Where necessary, we may request additional information, correct or remove content, restrict its visibility or take other appropriate measures.
Submitting a report does not automatically mean that the reported content will be removed.
If a restriction has been applied to your content or account, you can request an explanation or submit an objection at info@siinapp.ee. Any additional rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
12. Deleting an account
Users can delete their account at any time in the app by selecting My SIIN → Settings → Delete account and confirming the deletion.
When an account is deleted, the user account, associated personal data and management permissions are removed. Provider profiles managed solely by that user and their associated content are removed from public view. Shared provider profiles and other managers' content are retained.
Public places remain even if the user was their sole manager. Local data and reminders associated with the account are deleted, and the user is logged out.
Deleting an account is free of charge. Further information: https://siinapp.ee/konto-kustutamine
13. Service operation and changes
We continually develop and improve SIIN.
Some features may be temporarily interrupted, changed or unavailable during maintenance.
We strive to ensure the reliability of the service, but uninterrupted operation of an internet-based service cannot be fully guaranteed.
We may add new features, change existing ones or discontinue them in accordance with applicable law.
Where necessary, we will notify users of significant changes in an appropriate manner.
14. Liability
SIIN aims to make information about local life easier to find.
The publishers bear primary responsibility for content published by users and businesses.
As a rule, MANFOR OÜ is not a party to contracts relating to third-party events, services, bookings or purchases.
We are not liable for the actions of third parties or information they publish to the extent that liability is not imposed by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Personal data protection
The principles governing the processing of personal data on SIIN are described in the Privacy Policy:
16. Changes to the Terms of Use
We may amend these Terms if our services, legislation or other significant circumstances change.
The current version is always available on the website siinapp.ee.
Where necessary, we will notify users of significant changes through the app or by other appropriate means.
17. Applicable law and disputes
The SIIN Terms of Use are governed by Estonian law, subject to the mandatory provisions of European Union law and other applicable legislation.
If a dispute or problem arises, we recommend contacting us first to seek an agreed resolution.
Consumers retain all statutory rights, including the right to refer a matter to a competent consumer dispute resolution body or court.
18. Contact
If you have any questions, suggestions or problems, please contact us.
